  Raptor Research and Education Program  Coordinator

                       


Earth Conservation Corps’ Raptor Research and Education Program helps comprise a national model that provides youth development, school standards based education and promotes environmental stewardship throughout the Anacostia River watershed. 


The Raptor Research and Education Program Coordinator is responsible for the hands on leadership of a team of Earth Conservation Corps members, providing raptor education sessions using live birds of prey.


Raptor Research and Education programming will take place primarily on Kingman Islands and consist of a combination of in school and Island based hands on initiatives.  The Raptor Research and Education Coordinator shares extensive knowledge of raptors, with an emphasis on those native to the Anacostia watershed. Raptor Research and Education Coordinator also conducts raptor education sessions, including
fight demonstrations.
